Lofty has announced that our next opposition in the Hospitals Cup will be the Pluckers, a Division 6 team who play at the Double Barrel on Tuesday nights.  The game is to be played in the week commencing 5 October but their Secretary has not as yet been in touch.

Turning to Division 2, the Fox & Hounds in Prestbury Road is the latest pub to convert its alley to a restaurant.  As well as being a loss to the skittling community, this particularly concerns us because we are due to play the Jets there on 5 January (and, if they have to disband because they can't find another alley, then our only win so far this season could be scratched..)
