FIR TREES SWALLOWED BY CARNIFEROUS HUSTLERS

The London Inn is beginning to resemble a fortress for Hustlers as they stormed to their fourth consecutive home win in their final match before Christmas.

First leg took a while to get going but, led by Andy, they managed to end the leg with their noses ahead by a single pin.  This however was no no avail as an equally close second leg ended with Fir Trees ahead and, at the halfway stage, the game was neck and neck.

It was up to third leg to show Fir Trees they meant business and both Wallsey and Chatz made it into the 40s to give Hustlers a small but important lead going into fourth leg.

Last leg stepped up to the mark and, although the game was tight throughout, Hustlers never let Fir Trees get too close, even adding three to their lead at the end.  Going into Christmas, the result was another satisfying win against a team higher up the table.
