Only John clicked in a low scoring match against Mira, a result which Hustlers might live to regret at the end of the season.
First leg lost pins heavily although Lloyd did his best to keep the Hustlers in the game. The outcome was a deficit of 14 pins carrying forward,
Second leg was dominated by a fine 44 from John who was unlucky not to reach a half century. He alone managed to steady the ship and pass the first leg deficit over to the third.
Third leg did no better and a miserable 97 ensured that Hustlers lost a further 12 pins which gave last leg a daunting target of 26 pins to overcome.
Unfortunately last leg could not rise to the challenge and a further 6 pin loss left Hustlers nursing a 32 pin home defeat.
