Following their victory at the Adam and Eve, it was back to normal as the Hustlers returned to the Suffolk Arms and suffered their first defeat of the season against All Stars.
First leg saw Lloyd consolidate his place near the top of the averages with a decent 39 but without enough support to stop an All Stars’ first leg lead of 4 pins.
Second leg did much better; Pete’s 42 gained him 10 pins on his opponent and the New Improved Dave, together with Rich, pretty much steadied the ship against their opposite numbers, with Hustlers ending the leg with a lead of 5 pins.
An indifferent Hustlers third leg against an admittedly good All Stars leg of 123 resulted in a deficit of 21 pins on the game at the start of the fourth leg. This proved too challenging a task for last leg and despite a spareless 47 by Captain Clive, Hustlers went down by a further 16 pins to lose by 37.
